SHOW RULES 1. All rabbits must be permanently and legibly tattooed. Judging will be by private ear number. All rabbits must be inside the showroom by 8:30am.
2. Judging will begin at 9:00am. Three calls will be made for each class and then the class will proceed without animals missing from the show table.
3. Exhibitors are responsible for carrying their own animals to the judging tables; however, assistance will be available if requested.
4. All official ARBA show rules as of the date of each show will be in effect for these shows.
5. The show superintendant WILL remove any animal showing signs of illness to an area outside the building. There will be no exceptions to the rule.
6. No refunds will be provided for scratched entries.
7. Returned checks will be subject to a $30 charged to be paid prior to the exhibitor’s show report being mailed. If the return check is not made good in 30 days after notification by the show secretary, the exhibitor’s entry will be removed from the show and all show reports will be amended to reflect this change and the amended reports sent to the appropriate breed club secretaries.
8. There will be no changes to the show paperwork at the judges table without the consent of the show secretary. For example, a change from buck to doe or changing a junior to a senior. If caught, the ARBA will be notified of the exhibitor tampering with the show paperwork. Paperwork and the entry will be disqualified.
9. Breeds with less than ten rabbits will not be sanctioned next year unless sponsored.
10. No animal other than rabbits or animals assisting the handicapped are permitted in the showroom.
11. RRBA is not responsible for losses due to fire, theft, flood, etc. All reasonable precautions will be taken to safeguard exhibitors and their animals.
12. Wooled breeds are to be groomed outside the showroom. No blowers or electric grooming equipment may be operated inside the showroom.
13. Substitutions made on the day of show must be ear number changes only.
14. Children are the responsibility of their parents – No screaming, shouting, or running is allowed in the showroom. Failure to control a child’s behavior may be the basis for disqualification of an exhibitor’s entire entry and forfeiture of all fees paid. Any property damaged incurred, will be the parent’s responsibility.
15. RRBA reserves the right to add, cancel or substitute judges as necessary.
16. BIS and Reserve in Show will be chosen from all BOB winners in that show. It is the owner’s responsibility to bring the BOB rabbits to the BIS judging table in a timely manner.
17. This is a carrier cage show. All carriers are required to have leak proof pans.
18. Rabbits entered in fur classes must also be shown in regular breed classes.
19. No one is permitted upstairs at the showroom.
20. Chairs and grooming tables will only be allowed if space is available after all the carriers are in the showroom. There is plenty of space just outside the fire hall where the grooming tables and chairs may be set up. Please stack your cages at least two high indoors to accommodate other exhibitors.
21. ELECTRONIC FILING/FAXING will not be accepted from persons who have, on previous occasion, registered and failed to make payment. All e-mail and faxed entered exhibitors are expected to pay, whether or not they attend.
22. IN THE CASE OF POOR WEATHER, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF OUR RABBIT SHOW IS NOT CANCELLED.
23. The filing of an entry indicates acceptance of these rules.
